Fast n Furious - 4

This isn’t a SPEED RACER story (it would’ve been my second today and the site’s third) but there’s definitely a motif at work here. The fourth film in THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS franchise (did you ever think it would come to this?) has gotten an official title and plot. I won’t even tell you what the title is. Just remove the ‘THEs’ from the original title and there it is. Simple. Pure. Whatever.
As you should all know by now, the fourth film re-teams the two men who are partly responsible for this franchise to begin with, Paul Walker and Vin Diesel, in a plot that according to Warner Bros. (fully responsible), goes a little something like this: "When a crime brings them back to L.A., fugitive ex-con Dom Toretto (Diesel) reignites his feud with agent Brian O'Conner (Walker). But as they are forced to confront a shared enemy, Dom and Brian must give in to an uncertain new trust if they hope to outmanuever him."
Director Justin Lin, who did part three, is back and says he plans to retire the franchise after a fifth film. . FAST AND FURIOUS is out on June 5, 2009.
Extra Tidbit: Female leads Jordana Brewster and Michelle Rodriguez also return for this one.[N im Happy] :D

It's CK ! baby .

Perfume People are an annoying bunch. We like fragrances with individuality, originality, and we like to smell different from the “masses.” We are drawn to exclusive scents. Any perfume that’s wildly popular, even if we like it, even if it stands out from the perfume pack, often does not get bought and worn by Perfume People because “Everybody’s wearing it!”
I don’t have to worry about such petty perfume concerns with the new Calvin Klein MAN cologne. It’s a nice fragrance but even if millions of men wear it, it won’t scream its identity to the world — it fits snugly into the men’s mainstream fragrance mold.
Calvin Klein MAN contains rosemary, mandarin, bay, nutmeg, incense, spearmint, cypress wood, and, oh dear, the usual (and overused) fragrance notes of bergamot, violet leaf, guaiac wood, sandalwood, amberwood (which is in LOTS of fragrances this year) and musk. Calvin Klein MAN starts with bergamot, cypress, a bit of bay and violet leaf. Nose boredom sets in immediately, but then the scent freshens thanks to mentholated rosemary and spearmint. (I like minty fragrances, but if you don’t, you may have trouble with the mid-section of Calvin Klein MAN.) The mints mix nicely with a subdued, unburned incense aroma; the heart of the fragrance with its minty incense is my favorite part of Calvin Klein MAN. As the mints calm down, I can detect one of my favorite notes: nutmeg. Too bad the nutmeg signals the start of the fragrance’s classic (or if you prefer “conventional”) warm finish of guaiac wood (with a tinge of rose aroma), sandalwood, amberwood and musk.

Go Green!

1. Be bright about lightArtificial lighting accounts for 44 percent of the electricity use in office buildings.
> Make it a habit to turn off the lights when you're leaving any room for 15 minutes or more and utilize natural light when you can.

2. Maximize computer efficiencyComputers in the business sector unnecessarily waste $1 billion worth of electricity a year.
> Make it a habit to turn off your computer—and the power strip it's plugged into—when you leave for the day. Otherwise, you're still burning energy even if you're not burning the midnight oil. (Check with your IT department to make sure the computer doesn't need to be on to run backups or other maintenance.) During the day, setting your computer to go to sleep automatically during short breaks can cut energy use by 70 percent. Remember, screen savers don't save energy.

3. Print smarterThe average office worker goes through 10,000 sheets of copy paper a year.
> Make it a habit to print on both sides or use the back side of old documents for faxes, scrap paper, or drafts. Avoid color printing and print in draft mode whenever feasible.

4. Go paperless when possible
> Make it a habit to think before you print: could this be read or stored online instead? When you receive unwanted catalogs, newsletters, magazines, or junk mail, request to be removed from the mailing list before you recycle the item.
> Make it a policy to post employee manuals and similar materials online, rather than distribute print copies. They're easier to update that way too.
5. Ramp up your recycling
> Make it a policy to place recycling bins in accessible, high-traffic areas and provide clear information about what can and can not be recycled.
6. Close the loop
> Make it a policy to purchase furniture made from recycled materials.
7. Watch what (and how) you eat
> Make it a habit to bring your own mug and dishware for those meals you eat at the office. [This is debatable , anyways we are served in paper cups and plates , haha ]
8. Rethink your travel
> Make it a policy to invest in videoconferencing and other technological solutions that can reduce the amount of employee travel.
9. Reconsider your commute
> Make it a policy to encourage telecommuting (a nice perk that's also good for the planet!) and make it easy for employees to take alternative modes of transportation by subsidizing commuter checks, offering bike parking, or organizing a carpool board.
10. Create a healthy office environment
> Make it a habit to use nontoxic cleaning products . Brighten up your cubicle with plants, which absorb indoor pollution.
> Make it a policy to buy furniture, carpeting, and paint that are free of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and won't off-gas toxic chemicals.

PS: One golden rule .Keep off that damn cell phone as much as possible , unless its your chick who's buzzing u :P

Got the original KillZone2!

All you gaming geeks ! this version 2 is kick ass : read on .

Killzone 2 is a military-themed first-person shooter that offers a futuristic, sci-fi slant as the soldiers of the ISA head to the enemy's home planet to fight back against the invasion seen in the previous game. This sequel to the 2004 Ps2 title from Guerilla games was first announced during Sony's E3 2005 press conference via a pre-rendered teaser trailer. The footage left many in awe, and even more in speculation and debate of the legitimacy of the trailer being real gameplay.Later confirmed and clarified by Sony was the reality that the footage was indeed a computer generated target render, leaving many hopefuls disappointed. However, the graphical fidelity of the released product appears to match the quality of the original trailer.
The game utilizes an intuitive cover system referred to by the developers as "lean and peek." Guerilla strived toward the creation of a cinematic gameplay experience. In what they call "Hollywood Realism", the camera perspective will remain in first person for the vast majority of the game, with the HUD being minimalist. That includes moments where the player must take cover, climb ladders, and when cut scenes gain full attention. This cover system allows the player to simply hold a trigger to latch onto cover, and then move the movement-assigned analog stick in the direction of the player's choice - whether it be up, left, or right. Virtually any position can be used as a cover anchor. The player can also enter a scope / sightwith their weapon when leaning out from behind cover. Vehicles, on the other hand, are not controlled in first-person view for the sake of streamlining.
Desttucktible environments and cover are a crucial part of Killzone 2, with nearly every piece of cover being able to be chipped away by gunfire and explosions until only a frame remains. Less permanent objects, such as trash bags, tin cans, and chairs, are movable and destructable. According to Guerrilla, the inclusion of destructible cover was not something added for players to be able to rip everything apart until it's completely non-existent like Battlefield:Bad company , but was added to further instill a more intense sense of realism, where everything in the world reacts as you would expect, and portrays movements which make sense in terms of real-world physics.

PS: My GMAT is fast approaching and im glued to this . So please dont ask my score :)

SAVE THE TIGER !

From a Legend to Another Legend :

Cricket's greatest batsman, Sachin Tendulkar pledged his support for tiger conservation on Tuesday.
Tendulkar said that the Indian cricket team supported the cause of the critically endangered species, whose numbers have been dropping alarmingly in the wild.
"At the start of the century, there were nearly 40,000 tigers in India. Today, that number has shrunk to 1,700 and we are losing at least one tiger a month. The rate at which the tiger is being hunted down is alarming," said Tendulkar, on the eve of India's first cricket Test against New Zealand.
"When I was growing up, I was told there was an animal called a dinosaur. Tomorrow, we would probably be talking about the tiger in a similar way to our future generations. Something needs to be done soon to stop the tiger from vanishing from our forests," he said.
"Though I am no expert in this field, I feel the tiger should be allowed to live without disturbance in the forests. As we have our own homes and territories, the tiger has its territory. We should not disturb its habitat. That would be the best way to ensure that this magnificent survives in our forests," he added.
In his message, Tendulkar said, "This majestic species is a symbol of India's rich and diverse wildlife heritage. It is in our best interests to ensure that this magnificent animal is not wiped out.”
"Join me, Sachin Tendulkar, in speaking out for the tiger. Together, we can make a difference. Together, we can save the critically endangered tiger."
Tendulkar also signed the Team Indian tiger banner, writing "Together, we can do whatever we can to save the tiger."
I pledge , join the legend to save another legendary being.

Thanks,
yaseen/Zain.
